    Beta version 4.18b4 is available at Download page.
    Starting from this version ‘Howdy, …’ menu including ‘Logout’ menu item at top bar admin menu will not disappear after blocking ‘Profile’ menu for the role.

    Just installed 4.18b4 version and all is working well , profile sidebar menu item removed succesfully, log-out all working , profile links in ‘howdy’ menu takes you to the dashboard instead.
