Can it be caused by something else?01/03/2021 at 10:09 in reply to: How to allow user role to edit posts of certain user id #7395
Thank you for your response.
I have tried what you suggested, I found out that I can edit posts created by one specific user only with the id of 4 which is an administrator, If I tr other admins I can’t edit their posts.
I have deactivated all plugins except URE and cptui
this is the editor configuration
What can be the issue?
does the other user need to have a certain capability?

In addition to that issue
I understand that I need to check
edit postsfor that option to show.
but if I check that checkbox the user is able to edit all the posts and not the posts that were created by a certain user.
for example, I created a role named
tikshuv_editorI want to let
tikshuv_editorrole the option to edit posts by user with userid = 4.
but because I gave him the option to edit posts,
tikshuv_editoris able to edit all the posts by all the users…
How can I solve that?11/02/2021 at 09:35 in reply to: How to allow user role tag custom taxonomy in cpt #735911/02/2021 at 09:17 in reply to: How to allow user role tag custom taxonomy in cpt #7358
Thanks for the fast replay
edit posts helped, but I dont want the users to be able to crud posts, comments or many other options that user the
just the cpt
is it possible?11/02/2021 at 08:02 in reply to: How to allow user role tag custom taxonomy in cpt #7354
Hi I added these three capabilities (link to image attached)
assign_kb-cats_terms (though the category begins with underscore _kb-cats )
amd I also added assign_info_terms (by the name of the CPT they belong to)
I added the capabilities to the Author abilities
but in the add CPT ui I still see the checkboxes as disabled… (link to image attached)
