Permission issue with single user

Hi,

I am using your plugin on a multi site setup and I am having a permission issue with only one specific user. I have an Author role which has view only own content setting enabled. The user is unable to see any of his posts and media. If I change his role from Author to editor things works fine. But the same setting works fine for all other Authors.

Can you help me what could be the issue?
