    Hi,
    I tried to follow: https://www.role-editor.com/content-view-access-restriction-selected-roles/

I would like to limit the editing access for categoryA only to a GroupA

I followed the steps, but I am not able to limit them
I have a userB in GroupB and he is able to see, edit delete post on CategoryA
    What’s wrong?

    Could you help me?
    Thanks

    Hi,

Private post just not expose its URL. If visitor knows private post URL (permalink) he can see it, event he doesn’t have any permissions on a site. If he can not see post, check if post view is not restricted by some other criteria.

Thanks a lot for your answer Vladimir.
Yes, he is able to see the private post on the front end, using the url but I would like that he is able to see the private post on the backend as well, but not edit it.
So, I could that he use the private post as template creating a duplicate (post) on which he could edite and so on.

In the backend, he can’t see the private post, he is able to see it only if I assign edit_private_posts but I don’t like it
Could you give me some suggestion about my issue?
    Thanks a lot
    Mario
