ParticipantI have set up a user role and the website uses Divi. When one person from a role I created goes to edit a page, they can add the Divi Image module but they can’t select the image to use. it just keeps the default blank image that Divi uses.

KeymasterIs ‘upload_files’ granted to this role?
Test if ‘edit_posts’, ‘edit_published_posts’ will help, also.
Look for the JavaScript error messages in the browser JS console after trying to upload image via Divi Image module.12/11/2025 at 16:22 #8903[email protected]
ParticipantI am getting this error.

ParticipantAs an additional test, I duplicated the role I am trying to use and then added every role, and it still doesn’t work.

KeymasterTry this workaround:
1) Go to Users->User Role Editor, select station_team role and grant temporally the ‘edit_theme_options’ capability to this role.
2) Go to admin menu Divi->Role Editor, select ‘station_team’ role and turn ON the “Theme builder” option at the top.
3) Go to Users->User Role Editor, select station_team role and revoke the ‘edit_theme_options’ capability from this role.17/11/2025 at 14:56 #8913[email protected]
ParticipantThat is working for my test account. I have asked my customer to try it now with hers. I will let you know but it seems like that should fix it.
