Additive roles

Hi, I’m using User Role Editor Pro to restrict categories by role. Users can have multiple roles (e.g., England and Scotland). I expected access to be additive — if a post is in both categories, a user with either role should see it.

Instead, if the user lacks any one of the roles tied to the post’s categories, they get a “Not enough permissions” error and a 404. Is there a way to make category access additive across roles?
