Import roles and capabilities in bulk mode by CSV

Hi Vladimir, then I exported all roles, where I can import them? I cannot see bulk “Import” button.

Can you tell me any solution to use the CSV file generated from Export button please?

I did not work on it yet. I see that it’s almost a year to this request. It’s time realized it. Let’s wait a bit more, for the next update.

Beta version 4.62.b1 includes “Export from CSV” feature (Settings->User Role Editor->Tools). Download it for testing from the “Download” page after login.

You can use previously exported from User Role Editor CSV file.

Note/Issue:
An import replaces all role entries. I effectively locked out all users (test site) by importing a single role.

Wishlist: A field to toggle “append additional roles” during import.

What about 3 checkboxes?
[x] Append additional roles.
[x] Overwrite existing roles.
[x] Remove not existing roles.

When all 3 checkboxes are selected we have full rewrite case as it works currently.
